We had the opportunity to meet and interview many interesting people about their work in the world of visual effects and digital art. This interview is with Mark Rosenbaum who is an artist and researcher at ILM (Industrial Light & Magic), and one of the main developers behind the Arnold renderer that was released by Solid Angle (owned by Autodesk) earlier this year. Mark talks about his background and how he came to be working on Arnold. He also discusses how the renderer was developed over time and how it is used for both still images and animations. It’s an interesting interview with someone who has been involved with some of the most interesting developments in rendering over the past few years.
